The COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited (COA RMCL) on the 9th of October 2023 unveiled a new herbal health product, an immune booster called COA Plus Mixture. The program was held from 18:00GMT to 21:00GMT in a dinner setting at the Kempiski Hotel, Accra, with stakeholders in the herbal space all present.
The founder/CEO of COA RMLC, Professor Samuel Ato Duncan explained in his speech that man works better with herbs or plant medicine because man thrives on three (3) things for life and survival on the planet earth, plants as food being part. The other two are air and water. He explained that as man eats food from plants, it is simply understandable that the human body does well with plant medicine and so Ghanaians shouldn’t frown on plant medicine but rather embrace it. He explained that GHC3 from every purchased COA Plus Mixture would be donated to support cancer, renal, and HIV units in the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, and Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
COA Plus Mixture was made known to be an improved version of the already existing product COA Mixture, also an immune booster used to help improve the general well-being of clients in various Ghanaian health centers, both private and public. The significant difference between the COA Mixture and the new COA Plus mixture is their various indication and chemistry. The already existing mixture is indicated for immune system support and the new COA Plus Mixture is indicated for improving the general wellbeing of clients. COA Plus Mixture as an enhanced formulation has more active ingredients in chemistry making it an improved version of the COA Mixture.
The safety and efficacy report conducted by the Center for Plant Medicine Research (CPMR) cleared the drug to be safe for use as their study showed that long-term use of COA Plus Mixture didn’t induce any toxicological insult even at the highest dose possible administered during their lab works.
The unveiling of the packaging was done in a grand style with African culture in a mini-drama. Speeches from all affiliates, partners, and stakeholders rolled out briefly and all too soon, the long-awaited program came to a successful end. A new superpower immune booster for general well-being in the form of a liquid colorless water-like herbal medicine has been added to the market successfully.
