Kaneshie market traders undergo free health Screening

Today Monday 20th December 2021 marked the day that Rafahop collaborated with capital 02 clinic to provide free health Screening for the traders at Karneshie market.
Rafahop, is a non-profit group of young health professionals including both past and new Herbal Medicine interns of the plant Medicine Research Centre and the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital, nurses and other health related fields. They seek to provide the populace with first hand information concerning the rational use of Holistic medicine or the complementary and alternative medicine of which herbal medicine is.

Starting by 8am this morning about 100 traders were freely screened for hepatitis B, Typhoid fever, blood Glucose, Blood group while their BMI as well as blood pressures were checked for consultation purposes.

Capital 02 clinic is an Accra-based health facility located at Bubuashie Ogle road, Pork Junction. Earlier this year the maiden version of the collaboration lead to screening of the residents around the Allied filling Station at Bubuashie.

The traders expressed their joy and appreciation to the team for the love and care shown towards them. They added that they are looking forward to more of such interventions to Safeguard their health.
