The evening was highlighted by the presentation of citations to distinguished individuals who have contributed significantly to the advancement of herbal medicine and the profession. Honorees included:
Dr. (MH) Yakubu Tobor Yusuf – Registrar, Traditional Medicine Practice Council (TMPC)
Dr. (MH) Bernard Kofi Turkson – Head of Department, Herbal Medicine, KNUST
Dr. (MH) Ebo Tetteh – Chief Medical Herbalist, Herbal Medicine Unit, Tafo Government Hospital
