DIY: Body Moisturizer

Ingredients;

  • Shea butter
  • Aloe Vera
  • Coconut and Olive oil
  • Essential oils (rosemary, lemon)
  • Vitamin E oil

Steps;

  • Melt Shea butter in a glass jar in a steaming water
  • Add 1 small cup each of coconut and Olive oil
  • Add any essential oil(s) of choice (I prefer lemon,rosemary and lavender)
  • Add vit E oil and stir thoroughly
  • Allow it to cool down and turn semi solid mixture (may need the help of a freezer to hasten the process?
  • Wash, peel, and blend your aloe vera with small amounts of water
  • Transfer the semi-solid mixture into a bowl and add the filtrate from straining the blended aloe vera
  • Mix with a hand mixer or a spatula thoroughly till it is evenly mixed, soft, smooth, and creamy
  • Transfer to a usable container for application and store in a cool, dry place
