DIY: Hair Sugar Wax

Ingredient;

  • Sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • Filtered water

Steps;

  • Place 2 cups of sugar in a boiling pan with half cup each of lemon juice and filtered water (i.e. increase quantity per storage capacity as 4/8 cups of sugar:1/2cup(s) of lemon juice: 1/2 cup(s) of filtered water).
  • Give it a good stir and place on a medium to low heat cooker, giving it a good stir till it bubbles up.
  • Take it down and allow the bubble to disappear and put it back l, repeating the stirring process on heat till it turns yellowish-brown color with honey-like consistency.
  • Allow it to completely cool down and store in a container for use. Guide for Use:
  • Apply a corn starch based powder on body part before waxing.
  • Apply by molding (3x) the sugar wax against your hair growth and flick downwards (do not hesitate to apply all the strength needed).
  • Hold the waxed skin area tight with a soft massage to relieve waxing pain of any sort. NB: sugar is sticky so wash off stains with soap and water after waxing if there are any
