Quest For Science And Evidence-based Medicine Behooves On Us To Train Medical Herbalist [VIDEO]- GAMH President

The President of the Ghana Association Of Medical Herbalist, Dr. Tony Mensah (MH) in his speech at the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Ghana Herbal Medical Students’ Association- KNUST emphatically acknowledged and hailed the great contribution of the Traditional Medicine Practitioners in sustaining the Herbal medicine industry.

However, He said we are in the era of modernisation and evidenced based medicine unlike the previous years where herbal medicine was based on folkloric treatment. This behooves on us on the need of the training of Medical Herbalist in the country

Its known that Ghana is the only country in Africa which offers a degree program in Herbal medicine in the training of Medical Herbalist. Dr. Tony Mensah (MH) therefore urge all stakeholders in giving their much support towards this quest.
