Africa: Remote Areas in Africa Still Use this form of Healthcare system

Mr. Peter Atta Adjei, who happens to be one of the influential people at plant Development Department at the Centre for Plant Medicine Research in his speech with rafanews; explained that,

Many People are struggling with common diseases especially in remote areas in Ghana and Africa due to poor healthcare amenities and underdevelopment.

This cause many people to turn back to the old forms of treatment of diseases which has been used by our grandfathers in the olden ages and has been proved efficacious

He added, Herbal medicine is not a myth due to proven efficacy.

He explained, many people sometimes use the word traditional medicine; which is the use of other substances apart from a plant which may include some parts of animals in addition to plants for its medicinal purposes

He, therefore, advocate the use and development of this system of Healthcare
