Dudo Herbal Mixture must be taken orally.
Dosage Adults
(18 years and above)Â The usual dose is; Three (3) tablespoonful (45ml) three times (3X) daily for Seven (7) days.
Children (12 years to 17 years)Â Two (2) tablespoonfuls (30ml) three times (3X) daily for seven (7) days.
If you forget to take a dose of Dudo Herbal Mixture, take the prescribed dose as soon as you remember and continue the rest of the dosage exactly as indicated above. Do not take double dose to make up for forgotten dose
SIDE EFFECTS
Dudo Herbal Mixture is well tolerated. It has no Active ingredient known to cause drowsiness or dizziness. It therefore has no effect on driving or machinery operation
WARNING / PRECAUTIONÂ Do not use Solak Herbal Mixture if:
– you are allergic to leaves, stem barks and roots of any of the Active Ingredients.
– your condition has not been diagnosed as Malaria or Loss of Appetite
-you have been diagnosed as an ulcer patient.
Please inform your prescriber you are taking Soladex Herbal Mixture, when other drugs are going to be prescribed for you, including allopathic over-the-counter-medicines
CONTRAINDICATIONSÂ Dudo Herbal Mixture is not recommended for pregnant women, lactating mothers and individuals below twelve (12) years.
INTERACTION WITH FOOD AND DRUGS
Dudo Herbal Mixture is well tolerated with food and should be taken preferably after meals. Please consult your doctor or Health Provider if you are taking any other medicines
OVER-DOSAGE AND MANAGEMENT.
If you take overdose of Dudo Herbal Mixture, drink plenty of water and consult your Health Care Provider immediately.
Do not induce vomiting. The Observable Adverse Effect Level (OAEL) of Dudo Herbal Mixture is greater thean five times (5X) the stated daily dose.
STORAGE AND HANDLING; Store Dudo Herbal Mixture in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.

Bitter leaf consists of the fresh or dried leaves of Vernonia amygdalina .A shrub or small tree, 2-5 m high with striate pubescent branches, becoming glabrous on maturity; leaves alternate, obovate-lanceolate, entire or finely toothed. Bitterleaf is a highly appreciated vegetable in West and Central Africa and can be consumed in various dishes. Leaf decoctions are used to treat fever, malaria, diarrhoea, dysentery, hepatitis and cough, as a laxative and as a fertility inducer. One of the most common medicinal uses of Vernonia amygdalina is as a treatment against intestinal worms including nematodes. In Zimbabwe a root infusion is used to treat sexually transmitted diseases. The bitterness is caused by sesquiterpene lactones (e.g. vernodalin, vernolepin and vernomygdin) and steroid glucosides (vernoniosides). Some of these compounds have significant antiparasitic activity, especially vernodalin and vernonioside B1. Vernolepin showed platelet anti-aggregating properties. Vernodalin and vernomygdin have cytotoxic activity.Aqueous leaf extracts containing the peptides, edotides, have been found to be potent inhibitors of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK), important agents for the growth of breast cancer cells; the anti-oestrogen drug, tamoxifen, is known to be an MAPK modulator (Atanaskova et al., 2002; Mandlekar and Kong, 2001). Grains of paradise consists of the dried mature seeds of Aframomum melegueta. A tufted leafy herbaceous perennial plant up to 2m high; leaves are distichously arranged. Although used mainly as a condiment, the seeds also have a stimulant action on the digestive system, strengthening and warming the stomach. They are used to alleviate indigestion, flatulence and bloating and help to relieve abdominal discomfort due to colic or griping. The seeds can help to reduce or prevent vomiting and to bring relief from nausea. They have also been used as an aphrodisiac. The seed is used to treat head colds, influenza, slight abdominal pains, constipation, menstrual pains and rheumatism. Combined with Zingiber officinale, they are used to treat colds and fever. Crushed in citron juice, they are employed for treating glandular problems. The pulverised seeds are used in an enema for treating constipation pains, and are mixed with mustard oil in an ointment for easing arthritis pains. The seeds are pulverised with the seeds of Piper nigrum and then mixed with coconut oil to make an ointment that is used to treat general swellings and pains. Studies on the sexual behaviour of male rats showed that A. melegueta and P. guineense increased sexual arousal (Kamtchouing et al., 2002).

The crude hot aqueous extract of the whole plant dose-dependently exhibited antimalarial activity by inhibiting the growth of Plasmodium falciparum (Gbeasor et al., 1989).
Extracts of various morphological parts of P. pinnata obtained by using the traditional method of preparation showed broad-spectrum antibacterial effects (Annan and Houghton). Broadbent (1962) observed that Paullinia-tannin has cardiotonic action. The compound increased diastolic tonus and coronary blood flow in isolated perfused mammalian heart.
